Montgomery Rubber & Gasket, a TRG, LLC company, is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Warehouse Customer Support Specialist to join our team. The Warehouse Customer Support Specialist serves as the link between customers, sales staff, and warehouse operations. They ensure orders are processed accurately, customer needs are met promptly, and warehouse activities are supported to deliver a smooth distribution process.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Order Management

• Receive and process customer orders via phone, email, or online portal.
• Provide accurate product information (sizes, specifications, availability) for rubber, gaskets, and related industrial products.
• Track and follow up on orders, shipments, and delivery schedules.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and efficiently.
• Communicate lead times, backorders, and substitutions when needed.

Warehouse & Logistics Support

• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped correctly.
• Prepare packing slips, shipping labels, and other documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and alert management of low stock or special-order items.
• Assist with scheduling freight carriers and ensuring shipments meet deadlines.

Sales & Administrative Support

• Support outside sales representatives by providing quotes, order status updates, and documentation.
• Enter data into ERP (Epicor P21) or order management systems.
• Maintain accurate customer records and transaction histories.
• Assist with pricing, product availability, and special-order requests.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with order entry systems, ERP software, or warehouse management systems. Epicor experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience within a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Familiarity with industrial products (rubber, gaskets, hoses, seals) preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse/distribution environment.
• Team-oriented with the ability to coordinate between departments.
• Comfortability with conversion math skills such as fractions to decimals and calculation formulas for material ordering required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and knowledge of basic units of measurement required.
