About the Role:

As a Valence Solutions Engineer, you’ll play a key role in setting up and optimizing our Valence software to meet client needs. You’ll leverage your technical skills to configure systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless functionality. This is a hands-on role perfect for a tech-savvy problem-solver excited to grow with a dynamic software platform. No formal degree is needed—just a passion for technology and a knack for getting things done.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Computer Proficiency : Confident in navigating and troubleshooting software systems, with a strong grasp of computer fundamentals.
• Database and SQL Knowledge : Practical experience with databases and writing SQL queries to manage and manipulate data.
• Problem-Solving Skills : Exceptional ability to analyze issues, think critically, and devise effective solutions in dynamic environments.
• JavaScript (Preferred) : Familiarity with JavaScript is a plus, enabling customization and scripting within the Valence platform.
• Programming Background (Optional) : Basic programming experience is beneficial but not required, with an emphasis on logical thinking over coding expertise.
• No Degree Required : We value hands-on skills and practical experience over formal education.
• Adaptability : Eager to learn and adapt to new tools and processes, with a proactive approach to mastering Valence’s configuration workflows.
• Communication : Clear and collaborative communication to work with teams and document configurations effectively.
• AI familiarity: Hands-on experience with tools like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Grok, and Claude to draft configurations, generate scripts, and troubleshoot issues. Ability to craft clear, effective prompts to guide AI outputs for documentation, code snippets, and system queries.
