Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A skilled Occupational Therapist is needed to provide prehensive therapy services within a K-12 school setting in Headland, AL. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY), offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students educational experiences through tailored occupational therapy interventions.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations to assess students developmental and functional abilities
• Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans that support students participation in school activities
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to optimize student outes
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in pliance with school policies
• Providing both individual and group therapy sessions as needed

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of Alabama
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy, preferably across K-12 settings
• Strong munication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
• Prior experience in home health or healthcare occupational therapy is a plus, enhancing a holistic understanding of client care
