General Laborer
Join a dedicated team committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workplace. As a General Laborer, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations and various projects around the shop. This position offers a consistent day shift schedule, opportunities to work with different departments, and a chance to contribute to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Empty chip hoppers using a forklift
- Sweep floors and operate the street sweeper
- Empty trash throughout the shop
- Assist with plant maintenance, including painting and cleaning machines
- Support other departments as needed
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Qualifications
- Must be safety conscious
- Self-motivated and able to follow directions and procedures
- Willingness to assist other departments as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds as required
- Comfortable working in environments with moving mechanical parts, varying temperatures, and moderate noise
Compensation
$16.00 – $17.00 per hour for day shift (6:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday; 4 ten-hour shifts)
