This is a pivotal moment of growth for the Aum Foundation, and we are seeking a strategic, compassionate, and influential Executive Director to be the heart and engine of our organization. The Role: A Strategic and Operational Leader
The Executive Director (ED) will be the driving force behind the strategic vision, operational excellence, and community impact, guiding the Aum Foundation to its next chapter of success. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED will serve as the chief advocate and ambassador for our work. They will be responsible for defining and leading the organization's strategic evolution, ensuring our programs are innovative and our outreach is robust. The ED will lead a dedicated team, fostering their professional growth and empowering them to excel in their roles, allowing the Board to focus on high-level governance and strategic guidance.

- Demonstrated success in fundraising and financial management, with a clear understanding of nonprofit fiscal responsibilities.
- Exceptional communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to inspire a wide range of audiences.

- A dedicated advocacy for diversity, equity, and inclusion.

- A leadership style rooted in honesty, transparency, and the highest ethical standards.
- Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relations unique to the nonprofit sector.
- Experience collaborating with universities and colleges.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
Ideal Qualifications
- A minimum of 7-10 years of senior leadership experience, including at least 5 years within the nonprofit sector preferred.
- Demonstrated hands-on skills in budget management, including forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's Degree or higher is preferred.
