Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Physical Therapist position is available for the upcoming full school year, serving K-12 students in a school setting located in Clanton, AL. This contract role requires delivering skilled therapeutic services two to three days a week, focusing on supporting students physical development and improving functional abilities within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in grades K-12
- Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and motor skills
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning to ensure comprehensive student support
Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Alabama is required
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school or educational setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills essential for effective collaboration
Location: Clanton, Alabama, serving K-12 school students
