About Us

NHS Management operates 44 skilled nursing facilities across Alabama, Florida, and Arkansas. Our Business Office Managers lead the day-to-day financial operations of the facility business office, supporting residents, families, and facility leadership while managing one of healthcare’s most complex reimbursement environments. Position Overview: Business Office Manager

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business office within the facility. Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing Medicaid and Medicare billing , including the full claims cycle, denial resolution, and Medicaid application processing from documentation through eligibility approval
2. Overseeing accounts receivable across all payer sources, auditing resident accounts, and driving collections to support the financial health of the facility
3. Conducting financial analysis and reporting , tracking performance against goals, and communicating findings to facility and corporate leadership
4. Completing admission financial reviews to assess payer eligibility for incoming residents and support census and revenue goals
5. Maintaining business office oversight , including census reporting, resident trust fund reconciliation, and compliance with state and federal billing regulations

What We’re Looking For

1. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
2. New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior healthcare experience is not required
3. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
4. A motivated professional who is ready to learn, grow, and make an impact
