Corvid Technologies is looking to add an experienced System Engineer to apply sound practices and principles to development tasks related to ground control software. This opportunity could support one of multiple Systems Engineering roles within the program, including opportunities to be a Product Owner – responsible for developing and executing the project plan for various capabilities/applications being developed. In all the System Engineer roles, the candidates will work closely with the program team and government stakeholders to ensure new capabilities are developed and integrated into a fielded system with limited disruption to the warfighter.
Candidate will need to enjoy a fast-paced work environment with challenging tasks, diverse applications of technologies, and a blended team of professionals with various areas of expertise and levels of experience.
Requirements:
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in a related STEM field and at least 8 years of relevant work experience (advanced degrees may substitute for experience)
- Demonstrated understanding of system engineering processes and principles, along with proven experience in applying them to develop product solutions (specifically related to software)
- Must have experience working large missile defense programs
- Must have experience working with DOORS, Cameo, and MBSE
Preferred Requirements:
- Preferred candidates will have an advanced degree in Mathematics or Physics
- Experience developing System Engineering artifacts (specifications, Interface Control Documents, Use Cases, System Architecture Descriptions, Trade Studies, etc.) is a plus
- Battle Management or Fire Control experience is a plus
