Machining Production Operator 2nd Shift – Tanner, AL

Pay: $18.85/Hr + $1/hr shift differential

Bocar US is seeking a Machining Production Technician to join our team in Tanner, AL. The Operator will load/unload aluminum castings from CNC and assembly machines. The Operator will also straighten
and or polish aluminum castings using a variety of pneumatic equipment and hand tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Must be able to control output of machines in order to produce quality parts that are within required specifications.
  • Perform quality checks on the finished product to verify conformance to specifications and insure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform setups, changeovers and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery. Operators will be trained to preform tasks.
  • Deburr castings with pneumatic hand tools
  • Straighten castings using hand tools
  • Manual dexterity
  • Use of Hand Tools
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in reading and writing English and basic math (adding, subtracting).
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work well in a fast pace environment
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 22 pounds repetitively on a height of 5 feet
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Previous experience with CNC machines is preferred but not required.
