CUI Telecommunications is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Construction Billing Coordinator to support the financial and operational success of our telecommunications construction projects. This role is responsible for coordinating billing activities, validating project documentation, tracking production, and ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time for both customers and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and analytical skills, experience working in construction or telecommunications environments, and the ability to collaborate with operations, accounting, project management, and field leadership teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and process customer invoices for telecommunications construction projects.
  • Verify billing accuracy by reviewing work orders, production reports, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Supervisors, and Operations teams to ensure completed work is properly documented and approved for billing.
  • Track project milestones, unit-based billing, and production quantities to ensure alignment with customer contracts and scopes of work.
  • Monitor billing schedules and ensure invoices are submitted within required timelines.
  • Assist with subcontractor billing verification, reconciliation, and payment coordination.
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies, missing documentation, or invoice disputes.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical billing records, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Support month-end close activities and reporting requirements for Finance and Operations leadership.
  • Generate reports related to revenue tracking, billing status, aging invoices, and project performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and contractual billing procedures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Payroll, Recruiting, Operations, and Executive Leadership teams.
  • Assist with audits, customer requests, and documentation retrieval as needed.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, construction administration, or project coordination.
  • Strong understanding of construction billing processes, production tracking, and invoice management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working with accounting systems, ERP platforms, or project management software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in telecommunications, utility construction, or infrastructure services.
  • Familiarity with unit-based billing, PO tracking, and customer-specific invoicing requirements.
  • Experience supporting Comcast, Charter, Cox, or other MSO construction projects.
  • Knowledge of payroll coordination, subcontractor invoicing, or job costing processes.
