Position: RN-Stepdown (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-Stepdown for a 13-week contract in Birmingham, Alabama — earn up to ($1591 - $1675 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit.

• Participate in professional development and training programs.

• Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly.

• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

• Assist in achieving departmental targets and goals.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop care plans.

• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately.

• Utilize data to track patient outcomes and improve care.

• Educate patients and families on health management.

• Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions.

• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

• Maintain a high level of visibility in work activities.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alabama with experience in stepdown units.

• Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

• Proven ability to monitor and assess patient conditions effectively.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Ability to maintain high visibility in work activities and achieve targets.

• Experience in documenting patient progress and treatment plans accurately.

• Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols in healthcare settings.

• Strong interpersonal skills to educate patients and families effectively.

• Experience in using data to track patient outcomes and improve care.

• Demonstrated ability to engage in performance evaluations and feedback.
