Snelling is currently hiring for a leading manufacturer in the Birmingham area with an immediate opening for an In dustrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. The Industrial Maintenance Technician maintains all the equipment in the plant by showing proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing the equipment.
Pay Range for the Industrial Maintenance Technician: $28-32/hr. DOE
Job Duties for Industrial Maintenance Technician
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment, hand tools and personal knowledge to determine root cause.
- Inspect and perform daily maintenance on all shop machinery & building
- Maintain a thorough and working knowledge/understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems/components and how they operate.
- Making repairs to building, changing lights, etc.
Must Haves for Industrial Maintenance Technician
- Minimum 5 years industrial maintenance experience required
- Electrical controls maintenance and repair proficiency.
- Welding experience is a PLUS
- Must have the experience with and the ability to demonstrate electrical and mechanical maintenance principles, concepts, and troubleshooting techniques including a working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Self-motivated, can work independently with little supervision
