As a Security Officer Credential Screening in Theodore, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and help support access control procedures. You may conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials, processing visitors and/or drivers, and following security-related policies for the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, contractors, and/or deliveries, help to deter unauthorized access, and document security-related activity in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter to observe conditions and report unusual activity.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and pass-down information related to access control, visitor activity, truck traffic, and other security-related operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
