Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness, appearance, and maintenance of our facilities. The successful candidate will lead a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with other departments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Train, schedule, and motivate housekeeping staff to uphold the company’s cleanliness, quality, and service standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and performance metrics for staff.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens; order supplies as needed.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, staff performance, and equipment maintenance.
- Prepare reports for management on the status of housekeeping operations, including challenges and areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in housekeeping management is a plus.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and managing inventory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

**Physical Requirements:**
