Qualifications:
- Hold an active Alabama K-12 Special Education Licensure
- Background in providing individualized instruction within elementary or middle school settings
- Experience adapting curriculum for diverse learning needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with general educators and support staff to ensure student success
- Document student progress and adjust strategies to promote continuous growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with families to support each learner’s journey
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom community
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
