• Employment Type: W-2 contract employee of ProCare Therapy , working full-time (~8 hours/day, MondayFriday) at your assigned secondary campus.
  Payroll, benefits, professional coaching, and paperwork support all handled through ProCare.

Overview
You will deliver specialized instruction to students with mild-to-moderate disabilities, serving as a member of a collaborative IEP team. Youll partner with general education teachers, students families, and related staff to ensure each learner receives timely support in the least restrictive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in PowerSchool Special Programsinclusive of eligibility, present levels, and measurable goals
• Deliver tailored instruction via resource and in-class inclusion, supporting academic access and IEP goals
• Provide accommodations, modifications, and assistive strategies in compliance with each IEP
• Collect progress data, write interim reports, and adjust instruction accordingly
• Facilitate annual, triennial, or interim IEP meetings and serve as a case manager (as assigned)
• Coordinate with general education staff, paraprofessionals, related services, and families
• Maintain procedural safeguards, documentation, and compliance with IDEA and Alabama special education regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors in Special Education (Masters preferred)
• Valid Alabama Secondary (612) Special Education certification
• Proficiency with PowerSchool Special Programs IEP system
• Prior experience in resource and inclusion settings for students with mild to moderate disabilities (caseloads of approximately 1020)
• Organized, dependable, and skilled in verbal/written communication
• Valid Alabama drivers license and ability to travel between campuses

Employment & Support Terms

• Reporting & Payroll Management: All employment paperwork, time tracking, and evaluations are managed through ProCare HQ ; you will submit hours weekly to ProCare (not directly to the district)
• Training & Onboarding: Initial orientation through ProCare, followed by school-specific onboarding toward the start of the assignment
• Performance Monitoring & Professional Development: Receive feedback and coaching support from both district and ProCare leadership
• Contract Renewal: Depends on student needs and district approval; vacant roles are reposted annually
