Vehicle Service Worker Transdev in Tuscaloosa, AL. is seeking a Vehicle Service Worker to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Vehicle Service Worker you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles. Transdev is proud to offer: Non-CBA Position: Competitive compensation package of minimum $15.25 - Maximum $17.25 Benefits include: + Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks + Holidays: days; 8 standard holidays + Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability. + Company paid training materials, and boot reimbursement Key Responsibilities: + Fuel all vehicles + Check and add fluids to vehicles as needed + Clean and detail facility and the interiors and exteriors of vehicles + Complete other maintenance tasks assigned by supervisor. Qualifications: + Are at least 21 years of age + If you have your Class D license, we will provide you PAID training to get your Commercial Driver's License and provide the vehicle for testing. Within the first 90 days of employment + Valid driver's license + Vehicle fueling, cleaning, and detailing experience a plus + Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions + Be subject to a drug test Physical Requirements: + Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. + The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent Standing, walking, and bending. + Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
