Faulkner University Thomas Goode Jones School of Law seeks well-qualified applicants for a full-time Legal Research and Writing Faculty position. The successful candidate must possess a strong academic background, effective communication skills, and a potential for teaching excellence. This person will teach first-year required courses in Legal Reasoning, Writing, and Research (fall semester) and Legal Analysis and Persuasion (spring semester), and may teach other courses as needed. Faulkner University is a Christian university committed to the highest standards of academic excellence and Christian values. This is a full-time, 10-month position beginning August 1, 2026 with security of position under the School of Law's policies pertaining to Legal Research and Writing Faculty. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with academic qualifications, teaching experience, and research. Priority will be given to applications submitted by November 1, 2025.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-approved institution required
- Active member of the church of Christ preferred
