Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist – Main Campus
Location: Huntsville, AL
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel MRI Technologist to join our Radiology Department on a temporary 8-week assignment. As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans in a fast-paced hospital environment while providing excellent patient care and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

• Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders

• Ensure proper patient positioning, preparation, and safety during procedures

• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and communicate findings to radiologists

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations

• Collaborate effectively with radiology staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members

• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of MRI equipment and imaging areas

• ARRT (MR) certification required

• Minimum of 1-2 years MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting

• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)

• Experience with GE or Siemens MRI systems preferred

• Excellent communication and patient care skills

• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, team-oriented environment

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid MRI technologist certification and state license.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Experience operating MRI equipment and performing scans.

• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction and support.

• Proficient in using pipelines to track and achieve imaging targets.

• Strong understanding of safety protocols in MRI procedures.

• Capability to troubleshoot technical issues with MRI equipment.

• Ability to document and report imaging results accurately.
