Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Albertville, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to concerns, write clear reports, and deliver customer service through strong communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouses, loading dock areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing, watching for unauthorized activity and conditions that may help to deter losses.
• Monitor access points and vehicle and/or foot traffic, verifying identification and directing drivers and visitors to designated staging areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed shift documentation, including patrol activity, incident reports, and observations, and report maintenance concerns such as lighting or door issues through the established process.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
