Driver Helper
Halsey Foodservice is a leading provider in the foodservice industry, committed to delivering quality products and exceptional service. We are currently seeking dedicated full-time Driver Helpers to join our team. This role offers the advantage of being home every night, making it ideal for those seeking work-life balance. As a Driver Helper, you will assist our drivers in unloading products from the tractor/trailer using a hand truck. This position requires handling fast-paced, physically demanding work, including repeated lifting.
Responsibilities
- Assist drivers in unloading products from the tractor/trailer using a hand truck.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- At least one year of relevant experience preferred.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Background check and drug screen required.
