Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active and current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- State licensure—or eligibility for licensure—in Alabama
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and deliver therapy tailored to student needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Offer consultation and training to school staff regarding speech and language disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions
- Stay current on best practices and new research in speech-language pathology, applying learned techniques in the school setting
