Make a meaningful impact by providing essential behavioral support to K-12 students, with a primary focus on the elementary level. This contract opportunity allows you to leverage your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) expertise in a supportive, dynamic setting where your work truly matters. Enjoy the flexibility of a 2-3 day per week schedule, with the potential for full-time hours if preferred. This role spans the academic year from early August through late May, offering consistency and the chance to develop strong relationships with educators and students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a BCBA required
- Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Background working with children in school settings, preferably at the elementary level
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently and travel between school sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform FBAs and develop, monitor, and update BIPs for students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to implement effective behavioral interventions
- Deliver services primarily at elementary schools, with some support for K-12 students
- Train and support staff in evidence-based behavioral strategies
- Document and report on student progress and service implementation
