Driver Talent & Engagement Specialist — Build and Support Our Driver Network

Join our Birmingham, AL team as a Driver Talent & Engagement Specialist , where you’ll play a vital role in attracting, onboarding, and supporting the professional drivers who power our transportation network. This position is essential to growing our driver base, enhancing engagement, and ensuring long-term success.

- Meet hiring and onboarding targets through proactive recruiting efforts
- Build strong pipelines through networking, referrals, outreach, and community involvement
- Represent opportunities at local events and recruiting initiatives
- Serve as the main point of contact throughout the hiring journey
- Lead onboarding sessions and orientation for Independent Contractors (ICs)
- Guide candidates from application through onboarding and vehicle placement
- Deliver a welcoming, professional, and seamless onboarding experience
- Build strong, lasting relationships with active drivers
- Provide ongoing support to boost satisfaction and long-term retention
- Address concerns and connect drivers with the right operational resources
- Partner with operations and leadership to strengthen engagement programs
- Maintain accurate records for recruiting, onboarding, and retention
- Track hiring activity, onboarding progress, and retention metrics
- Share regular updates and insights with leadership
- Support additional workforce and operational initiatives as needed
- Experience in recruiting, staffing, retention, customer service, sales, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and team-focused mindset
