Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Remote Helpdesk Support to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees who are working remotely. You will be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues and will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our remote workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
- Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely resolution to reported problems
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications for remote employees
- Train and assist employees with remote access tools and technologies
- Monitor and maintain remote systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain best practices for remote support
- Document and maintain records of all help desk interactions and resolutions
- Communicate effectively with remote employees to understand and address their technical needs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements to provide innovative solutions and improve remote support processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience with remote access tools such as VPN, RDP, and Citrix
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
