Superior Aerospace is seeking an experienced Manufacturing / Process Engineer to support the design, development, and continuous improvement of precision-machined components and assemblies for the aerospace and general aviation industries. This role is hands-on and instrumental in ensuring efficient, repeatable, and cost-effective production of high-quality parts. This role will initially require approximately 60% travel.

• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T callouts, and 3D CAD models
• Create, update, and manage 2D and 3D CAD models
• Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes for CNC and manual machining
• Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and work-holding solutions
• Build routing sheets, part travelers, and establish time and labor standards
• Troubleshoot machining, programming, and process-related issues
• Support quality, document control, and production workflow requirements
• Partner closely with operators and production staff to meet part specifications
• Drive continuous improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction projects

• 10+ years of recent experience in aerospace, aviation, or precision manufacturing
• Strong ability to interpret and apply GD&T (ANSI Y14.5)
• Solid understanding of process control , machining workflows, and routing
• Demonstrated troubleshooting ability with CNC, manual machines, and NC programming
• Ability to read and understand G-code , with parametric macro familiarity
• MasterCAM (2024 or newer) CAM programming proficiency
• Preferred CAD: AutoCAD or BricsCAD (2D drafting)
• Preferred CAD: Creo Parametric (v11+) (3D modeling)
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with quality systems, document control, and contract review

• This role has no direct supervisory responsibilities
• Other related duties may be assigned
