OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Decatur, AL by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Drive OTR dry van freight across the continental U.S. with HMD Trucking out of Decatur, AL. This solo CDL-A opportunity places drivers in late-model equipment (under 3 years) featuring sleepers, APUs and inverters, plus dependable in-house maintenance and steady freight assignments.

Your day-to-day:

• Run scheduled long-haul routes, ensure timely deliveries and maintain compliant driver logs.
• Complete thorough pre/post-trip and inspection routines; report defects promptly.
• Liaise with dispatch and customers to manage load details and schedules.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable experience.
• Commitment to safe driving and clean inspections.
