Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide services within a K-12 school setting. This position supports students' communication and language development throughout the full academic year, from August 4, 2025, to May 22, 2026.
Key details include:
- Valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist licensure (submission of current licensure required)
- Full-time schedule with up to 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload varies depending on student needs
- Duties aligned with school-based SLP responsibilities, including assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families
- Location will be assigned post-interview in consideration of the candidates residence within the Pell City area
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, and other communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
- Attend meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development as required
