Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future. **The Role** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Developer to oversee the development of a cutting-edge ITIL-style ticketing dashboard. This Angular-based project is designed to deliver a seamless user experience for our global telecommunications company. The Lead Software Developer will play a pivotal role in leading the development team, ensuring the scalability, performance, and security of the application, and driving innovation in both frontend and backend development. **The Main Responsibilities** - Lead the design, development, and deployment of the Angular-based ITIL-style ticketing dashboard. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables. - Architect and implement modular, reusable, and scalable code for both frontend and backend systems. - Ensure adherence to Angular and TypeScript best practices, including dependency injection and component-based architecture. - Manage the backend development using Express and Node.js, ensuring robust API design and middleware implementation. - Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and identify potential issues. - Monitor application performance and implement optimizations to enhance user experience. - Perform security analysis to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in the codebase. - Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and technical feasibility. - Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability. - Document code and processes thoroughly to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding. **What We Look For in a Candidate** Required Qualifications: - 6+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree. - Proven experience as a Lead Software Developer or similar role. - Expertise in Angular and TypeScript. - Strong knowledge of Node.js and Express. - Proficiency in frontend development, including component-based architecture and responsive design. - Solid understanding of backend development, including API design, middleware and role-based authorization. - Ability to work in a Linux environment and use bash for shell scripting. - Familiarity with ITIL principles and ticketing systems; Strong preference for ServiceNow experience. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of performance monitoring tools and techniques including Uptime Kuma, Prometheus and Grafana. - Familiarity with security best practices for web applications and authentication techniques including LDAP/AD, OAUTH2 and JWT. - Experience with unit testing frameworks for Angular and Node.js including Karma and Jasmine. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies; Preference for Jira experience. - Previous experience in the telecommunications industry. - Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of past work. **Compensation** This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
