Shift: Monday - Friday from 1:30 PM - 10pm or until work is completed
Anticipated salary range: $75,600.00-$107,900.00

The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health:
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

- Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business support, technical or production staff in an assigned area
- Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors
- Applies expertise to solve standard and non-standard problems within own area

- Provides direction in discussing and creating development plans
- Provides input into succession planning process for own work area
- Aligns individual goals for self and others with work area/functional goals

- Works/brainstorms with work team and provides suggestions for solutions that contain the appropriate level of risk; ensures work team understands and supports the focus on operational excellence
Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage warehouse associates to achieve timely distribution and receipt of product and motivate employees to ensure that predetermined productivity and quality standards are achieved
- Monitor productivity, adhere to budgetary guidelines, and work to meet Distribution Center objectives and operational goals while maintaining standards pertaining to quality
- Responsible for the daily scheduling of the work force to insure proper staffing to select, replenish, restock, locate and ship merchandise in a productive and cost efficient manner.
- Hold staff accountable for conducting work in a safe manner, ensure that warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment to perform distribution functions and provide support for a culture that strives toward continuous improvement in Environmental, Health and Safety
- Coordinate maintenance of equipment, guiding both preventive maintenance and coordinating all necessary repairs
- Responsible for employee development, which includes training, coaching, counseling and performance appraisals
- Maintains general responsibility for disciplinary process in the area of counseling, oral and written warnings; insures a productive work climate in the warehouse operation
- Prepares ad hoc reports as necessary.
- Insures that accurate attendance/PTO records and scheduling are maintained.
- Responsible for Cardinal Health compliance and regulations concerning OSHA, DEA, FDA, State and local authorities; primary facility contact for QRA compliance and initiatives
- Coordinates and supervises day to day activities of operations. Activities include but are not limited to: Receipt of inbound freight, Stocking, Outbound Order selection, Shipping, Inventory Control.
- Responsible for warehouse safety programs to facilitate safe and clean environment.
- Measures and monitors productivity, sets achievable goals, coaches and develops workforce.
- Administers and executes policies and procedures.
- Ensures employees operate within set guidelines.
- Maintains positive employee relations.
- Decisions have a direct impact on work unit operations and customers.
- Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers and peer groups at various management levels.
- Interactions involve information exchange and basic problem resolution.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma preferred
- 2-3 years related experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Leadership skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
