Estimator/ Draftsman
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Estimator/ Draftsman for a company based in Tuscaloosa, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to with a local iron manufacturer.
Pay Rate
45,000 to 75,000
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.
Estimator/ Draftsman Duties and Responsibilitie s
- Presents quotes to customers in response to bid inquiries.
- Creates drawings of parts and assemblies to be manufactured.
- Assess the financial, technical, and operational risks associated with a project.
- Prepare appropriate schedules and reports as requested by the company.
- Evaluates the cost of a project by considering labor, material, and time requirements.
Estimator/ Draftsman Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of responsible estimating and Autom CAD experience or preferred Engineering Degree.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to multi-task with ease and professionalism while communicating clearly and concisely. Must have good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of steel construction methods including welding, sawing, cutting, and forming.
- Must keep company and customer matter strictly confidential.
