Education

Bachelor’s degree.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience providing a full range of administrative and support services for analytical tasks to assist Insider Threat Office (InTO) with detecting, deterring, and mitigating insider threats. [KL1]
• Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, alternative solution evaluation, and trend projection.
• Proven experience managing programs, projects, and personnel.
• Proven program management and leadership skills; ability to mentor junior staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based tools.
• Skilled in developing methodologies for complex or non-standard problems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with diverse teams.
• Capable of ensuring operational coverage aligned with leadership priorities.
• Experienced in collaborating with government analysts on reports and deliverables.
• Effective at presenting technical findings and writing for non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in reviewing intelligence reports, collection plans, and databases.
• Strong analytical skills; able to assess trends and develop threat assessments.
• Experienced in writing clear, timely intelligence products with actionable insights

Preferred Experience

• Work experience in national security or security-related matters is preferred.
• Preferred work experience in national security or security-related matters with an emphasis on information analysis.
• Proficiency in understanding security risk management concepts; a security related certification; and experience with intelligence-focused operation environment.

Responsibilities:

SANCORP is seeking a Senior Intelligence Analyst to support the FBI’s Insider Threat Office (InTO) by overseeing analytical support services to detect, deter, and mitigate insider threats in alignment with the FBI’s mission to protect national security. The following are examples of responsibilities:

• Provide intelligence and threat analysis of information that is tailored to InTO requirements.
• Review and evaluate incoming reports and information, collection plans, and programs.
• Write clear, concise, and timely reports that identify, interpret, and collate disparate pieces of information.
• Develop information and technical support documents, summaries, reports, presentations, and other designated products in support of program information and technical support requirements.
• Present briefings to personnel designated by program management.
• Conduct analytical and critical thinking (i.e., understand problem set, review facts, make accurate observations and judgments, and provide recommendations to management).
• Identify relevant data sources to clarify or corroborate investigative or operational program initiatives.
• Access information from classified and open-source databases.
• Access, analyze, and interpret as well as perform research on designated systems and databases for the purpose of identifying information of interest to the requestor, organizing and reporting the identified information to an appropriate medium, and editing the information into format(s) specified by the InTO SOP.
• Evaluate information using good judgment and decision making.
• Analyze data, develop information, and assess available solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
• Develop and project data, draw conclusions, estimate probabilities based upon knowledge of current and past program situations, and understand the significance of conditions and trends.
• Oversee and manage projects, programs, and/or tasks.
• Provide leadership to junior team members.
• Identify impacts and effects of study findings and make recommendations.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to assist in the preparation of presentations.
• Conduct massive data analysis to include development of query techniques, prototype programs, and algorithms.
• Prepares finished studies of factual data.
• Prepare, review, and submit required reports and communicate policies, purpose, and goals of the organization to junior staff.
• Responsible for presenting briefings to personnel designated by program management.
