Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Huntsville, AL is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive support for students. This contract position spans the full school year and offers the opportunity to work closely with educators and families to enhance student communication and learning outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports according to school policies
- Provide direct therapy services to children with speech and language disorders
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in school settings with K-12 populations
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children
- Ability to design and execute effective therapy interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
