Location: Southeastern Alabama, U.S. – close to Georgia, Florida, and Gulf Coast beaches

HealthYes Staffing is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a high-performing regional health system in the Southeastern U.S. We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to join a growing surgical team. The ideal candidate will have proven endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) experience and the ability to work autonomously in both the OR and inpatient settings.

Position Summary
The CT Surgery PA will play a key role in supporting cardiac and thoracic surgeons in all phases of perioperative care. Responsibilities include first assisting in surgery, especially with conduit harvesting, managing pre- and post-operative patients, rounding, and supporting overall team workflow.

Responsibilities

• First assist in cardiothoracic surgeries, including coronary artery bypass grafting and valve procedures

• Perform endoscopic vein harvesting independently

• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative care

• Participate in daily rounds and coordinate care plans with surgeons, intensivists, and nursing teams

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and inpatient consults

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

• Active or eligible for licensure in the state of practice

• Minimum 2 years of CT surgery experience preferred

• Endoscopic vein harvesting experience is required

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a team setting
