Casual Dining Restaurant Kitchen Manager
We are adding an experienced head Kitchen Manager to lead all back-of-house operations for our casual dining restaurant location in Hoover, Alabama .
This role requires a hands-on kitchen leader with “ scratch kitchen ”, changing menu experience, who can drive standards, manage people, and maintain control of food quality , BOH costs, and safety. The ideal kitchen manager brings strong operational discipline, clear communication, and the ability to lead a kitchen team with confidence and consistency.
Kitchen Manager Compensation:
- Competitive starting salary base: $60-70K (D.O.E)

Kitchen Manager Qualifications
- 3+ years of scratch kitchen leadership experience, leading a high-volume kitchen staff
- Proven ability to oversee daily kitchen operations, prep systems, line execution, and sanitation standards in a scratch kitchen environment
- Strong experience with scheduling , labor management , food cost control , and inventory
- Solid knowledge of food safety , health department compliance, and cleanliness standards
- Ability to lead, train, and hold kitchen staff accountable
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work the line as needed
Kitchen Manager Preferred Background and Skills
- Experience in high-volume casual dining or upscale-casual style restaurant concepts
- Track record of improving kitchen consistency, speed, and food quality
- Experience in menu creation and seasonally changing menu
- Strong vendor and ordering management experience
