MANAGER TRAINEE
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and career-driven Manager Trainee to join our trucking dealership team. This position is designed to develop future leaders by providing hands-on training across dealership operations, including service, parts, sales support, and customer relations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, dependable, and interested in building a long-term management career within the trucking industry.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in a structured training program across dealership departments
Assist department managers with daily operations and administrative tasks
Learn dealership processes, policies, and performance standards
Support customer service efforts and resolve issues professionally
Assist with inventory control, scheduling, and reporting
Learn basic financial, sales, and operational metrics
Develop leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Ensure compliance with safety and company policies
Requirements
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Strong Analytical and Organizational Skills
- Reliably contribute to a positive work environment
- Exemplary communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to travel as needed
- Consistently develop and implement improved processes
- Provide timely feedback to all members within the organization as well as external vendors and customers
- Provide hands on support to team members
- Proven ability to lead a team of people with different personalities and skillsets
- Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge of Excel
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Related Field
