Snelling has immediate openings for CNC Plasma Operator for a well-established company in the Irondale area. $20.00-23.00/hr depending on experience. This is a 3rd shift opportunity!

Essential Duties/Responsibilities for CNC Plasma Operator:

· Loading & unloading table, operation of CNC

· Plasma, daily routine checkups on the machine.

· Checking programs for proper dimensions against Blueprints.

· Writing up plates and drops, placing material in proper Stations.

· Housekeeping on the CNC plasma and around it.

· Operation of Overhead Cranes & Forklifts.

· Loading and unloading plate trucks, briefing with relieving shifts, ability to follow

· instructions, ability to solve problems, ability to work unsupervised.

Required Skills CNC Plasma Operator:

· Good Work ethic

· Candidates should have 1yr min CNC Plasma experience (Or Related Field)

· Ability to read and interpret Fabrication Blueprints

· Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measure, box caliper, slide dial caliper, and micrometers.

· Ability to convert fractions to decimals and vice versa, add and subtract in fractions and decimals.

· Must have knowledge of Overhead Crane & Forklift Operation
