Position Overview: Wound Care / Treatment Nurse ( RN )

1. Completing detailed wound and skin assessments
2. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
3. Monitoring wound progress and ensuring accurate documentation
4. Performing treatments in accordance with physician orders
5. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes
6. Educating nursing staff on wound prevention and infection control
7. Supporting survey readiness and regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

1. Current R.N. license by State required with experience in the long term care or working with the geriatric population preferred.
2. Clerical ability is necessary to read reports and utilize data accurately for other purposes
3. Skill in organizing and planning programs and managing personnel to provide nursing service for residents.
4. Ability to plan and direct the department, coordinating with other departments.
5. Wound care experience preferred
6. WCC certification preferred but not require
