As a Security Officer DoD Secret Clearance Patrol in Huntsville, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity while helping maintain a professional environment for employees and visitors.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a defense industry location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials where required, and report suspicious behavior, access issues, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Support a professional location environment by following post orders, maintaining awareness of changing conditions, and/or assisting with security-related responses during routine and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
