Located in Mobile, AL Salary: $17.00/ HR A Portable Toilet (Porta Potty) Sanitation Cleaner is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, servicing, and maintaining portable restrooms at construction sites, events, parks, and other locations. Job Description Job Title: Portable Toilet Sanitation Cleaner Job Summary:The Portable Toilet Sanitation Cleaner services portable restrooms by cleaning, disinfecting, restocking supplies, and safely removing waste. The role requires driving a service truck, following health and safety regulations, and providing reliable customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize portable toilets using approved cleaning products.
- Pump out and dispose of waste using vacuum truck equipment.
- Refill water and sanitation chemicals.
- Restock toilet paper, hand sanitizer, soap, and other supplies.
- Inspect units for damage and report maintenance needs.
- Deliver, pick up, and relocate portable toilets as scheduled.
- Maintain accurate service logs and route records.
- Follow OSHA, environmental, and company safety procedures.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid driver's license (CDL may be required for some employers).
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to safely operate service vehicles and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and climbing.
- Exposure to sanitation chemicals and waste materials; appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and required.
- Lift up to 75 pounds.
- Stand, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
- Safely enter and exit service trucks multiple times throughout the day.
