Job Description

We are seeking skilled Assembly Technicians to join our team in both the Assembly departments. Candidates must be proficient in using a wide variety of tools, including both electrical and air-powered equipment.

Experience with carpentry tasks such as trim work, using a tape measure, and familiarity with drill bits is essential.

Technicians will perform tasks related to the interior and exterior assembly of emergency vehicles. Duties may include installing cabinets, trim, lights, or other components inside and outside of ambulances. Candidates may also work in confined spaces such as vehicle interiors and will need to lift, stand, kneel, bend, and stoop as part of their regular tasks. Electrical and air-powered tools will be provided by the company.

Work Experience

Candidates should be familiar with the following tools: Compound miter saw, Band saws, Radial arm saws, Drill press, Table grinder, Jig saws, Routers, Die grinders, Dual action (D/A) sanders, Cut-off tools, Hand drills, and drivers

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Mitre saw experience required
• Previous experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is a plus
• Ability to accurately read and understand tape measures and engineering drawings
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a strong work ethic
• Must have a positive attitude, stable work history, and good attendance
• Must be able to work occasional overtime as required

Working Conditions:

Typical automotive manufacturing shop environment (hot, cold, dusty)

Physical Requirements:

This position involves manual labor using assigned tools. Technicians must be able to reach, stand, kneel, bend, stoop, and twist throughout the day to assemble emergency vehicles. Work may involve tight or confined spaces and will vary throughout the shift.
