📍 Location: Montgomery, AL
About the Role
A leading communications contractor is seeking two experienced ISP Fiber Crew Leads for a long-term data center build project in Montgomery, Alabama. These Crew Leads will serve as the critical link between project managers and onsite technicians, helping drive efficient execution and maintain high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate fiber splicing operations onsite
- Serve as liaison between PMs and Level 1–2 technicians
- Perform installation and maintenance of racks, panels, cabinets, and cabling (inside plant)
- Troubleshoot and test fiber connections across inside and outside plant environments
- Interpret and apply technical diagrams and documentation
Required Skills & Experience
- Several years of hands-on experience in fiber splicing (lead experience preferred but not required)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of telecom infrastructure
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
Nice-to-Have Skills
- BICSI certification

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
