Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas, assisting with access control, visitor direction, and other security-related support duties appropriate to the location.
- Support a professional environment by reporting hazards, policy concerns, and/or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel and following post instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Hospital-required vaccines are required for this position.
- This position is in a hospital setting and may involve work in or around the morgue.
- The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, as needed.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
