Immediate W2 contract position available in Birmingham, AL.

Estimated Duration: 12 months

Job Description / Desired Qualifications:

· The Drafter 2 position requires 2-5 years of drafting experience.

· An associate’s degree in drafting and design is preferred.

Job responsibilities include:

· CAD drafting of transmission line centerline right-of-way, boundary, topographic, and land tie surveys.

· This position will be responsible for interpreting and writing “metes and bounds” or “centerline” descriptions for assigned projects.

· This position will support the survey field crews and office personnel by, but not limited to, researching existing survey and real estate records, contacting local and state agencies for right-of-way information, and transmitting completed projects.

Work schedule:

· 7am-3:30pm M-F (At the manager’s discretion).
