Floor Tech

Starting pay is $14.00/hr.

Ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently or within a team environment.

Job Requirements
1. Reliable transportation
2. Floor technician experience, at least 1 year.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills
4. Accessible by telephone
5. High School diploma or GED preferred
6. Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions and communicate well with others
7. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 50 pounds

Education: High school or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Floor cleaning and maintenance: Perform routine tasks such as sweeping, damp mopping, and vacuuming all types of floors to keep them clean and well-maintained.
• Floor care and refinishing: Use equipment like buffers, scrubbers, and extractors to strip, wax, buff, and polish hard floors.
• Carpet care: Clean and shampoo carpets, perform extraction, and handle carpet spotting.
• Equipment operation and maintenance: Safely operate and maintain floor care machinery. This includes cleaning the equipment after use and making minor repairs or recommendations for maintenance.
• Cleaning and sanitation: Mix and prepare cleaning solutions according to chemical specifications, clean walls and windows, and perform other janitorial tasks as assigned.
