Lawn Care Technician – Join Our Growing Team!

Lawn Doctor of Baldwin and Mobile Counties is growing, and we are looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our team as Lawn Care Technicians.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating independently, helping customers, and seeing the results of their work. No lawn care experience is required—we provide training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers, weed control, insect control, and other lawn treatments according to product labels and safety procedures.
• Identify weeds, insects, diseases, and other lawn concerns.
• Communicate treatment details and lawn-care recommendations to customers.
• Drive a company vehicle to residential and commercial properties.
• Maintain accurate service records and required documentation.
• Manage daily vehicle inventory, products, and equipment.
• Keep company vehicles and equipment clean, organized, and in safe working condition.
• Perform aeration, seeding, shop work, and other services as needed.
• Recommend additional services when appropriate.
• Follow company, Department of Agriculture, and environmental safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat and changing weather conditions.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and walk several miles during the workday.
• Willing to learn about Gulf Coast lawns, weeds, insects, and treatment methods.
• Previous lawn care, landscaping, pest control, agriculture, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required.
