Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid SLP license (state eligibility for Alabama)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience or strong interest in K-12 school settings
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in new environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy for students with speech-language needs
- Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and onsite multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Support students’ progress toward communication and academic goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
