A paraprofessional role is available to support virtual speech therapy services in a cluster of private schools near Mobile, AL. This position focuses on facilitating communication between students and speech-language pathologists (SLPs) through virtual platforms, providing hands-on assistance during remote sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support speech and communication therapy for students K-12 identified with speech or communication disorders.
• Act as the on-site facilitator for virtual SLP sessions, assisting with technology and student engagement.
• Serve as a liaison between students and clinicians during remote therapy, ensuring clear communication among all parties.
• Provide support for students during various remote therapy sessions, including speech and psychological services.
• Utilize technology effectively, with training provided by the virtual service provider as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, speech aide, or school teacher preferred.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to manage virtual therapy technology.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, local to the Mobile, AL area, and over 18 years old.
• Available to work approximately 15 hours per week, typically from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with some schedule flexibility.
• Ability to provide two professional references.
• Comfortable working across multiple school campuses with an itinerant caseload of about 60 students.

Location: Multiple private schools near Mobile, AL.

This contract position runs from March 2026 to May 29, 2026.
