Position Overview:

KODA is seeking a full-time Flight Software Engineer . The successful candidate will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object-oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++
• Standard teaming: Ability to work with multi-disciplined team
• Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture and integration & test
• BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 2–14 years of experience in embedded real-time software development

Desired Skills:

• Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience – (GreenHill or VxWorks)
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Previous experience writing and designing to software requirements
• Previous experience with flight software for spacecraft, launch vehicles, or safety/mission-critical aerospace systems

Clearance:

• Active DoD Secret Clearance, or higher, is required.
