We are seeking a qualified Pediatric Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative and clinical duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support physicians
- Communicate with patients and other physician practices, professionally and courteously
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Measure and record vital signs
- Obtain and process lab samples
- Clean and stock exam rooms as needed
- Administer Immunizations and medications as ordered by physicians
- Assist with any other office duties as needed or requested
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Pediatrics (minimum of 1 year)
- Medical Assistant Certification (or 2+ years medical assistant experience)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
